GlowGROUT is
a photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) grout material for use in
industrial and commercial facilities as well as in swimming pools,
spas, showers, or water fountains. GlowGROUT is formulated using
a non-radioactive rare-earth element that stores energy during exposure
to ordinary light and releases it when the lights go out, providing
low-level illumination for up to 12 hours after a fifteen minute
exposure to artificial or natural light. GlowGROUT is cost-effective,
reliable, and easy to apply, making it the ideal grout to use on
indoor or outdoor surfaces where safety and illumination is a concern.
Industrial and commercial facilities can use the "glow-in-the-dark"
characteristics of GlowGROUT to highlight exit ways and paths to
safety in the event of a power outage or fire. During normal lighting
conditions, GlowGROUT blends into floors, appearing like ordinary
white grout but after the lights go out, it glows in the Marine
Green or Cool Blue colors. To a building occupant, this additional
safety measure can mean the difference between life and death. To
a building owner who is responsible for building occupant safety,
the difference can mean the reduced possibility of lawsuits or litigation.

In
pools or spas, GlowGROUT can add low-level illumination without
the dangers of using electricity and can be used to mark stairs,
pool edges, or drop-offs for added safety. GlowGROUT can also be
used as a decorative touch, highlighting mosaic tiles or other designs.
GlowGROUT is formulated using a portland cement additive for strength
and reliability, providing unmatched safety, value, ease of use,
and versatility. GlowGROUT is resistant to most chemicals, solvents,
salt, or UV exposure and will not chalk, chip, flake, or peel. It
is water based, non-toxic, non-radioactive, and odorless, making
it safe for use on all indoor and outdoor applications.
